I am a married housewife and mom now, but in my younger days, I was a firefighter. Hubby and I took in 5 kids, but we are down to 3 now... so I have more time for my beloved books! I love reading and I usually have a book with me at all times. We have lots of pets also...2 dogs, 3 cats, 3 birds, and 14 frogs. Just one, big, happy, family (smile). I also love to share my books! 

I am a big fan of getting kids to love books early on in life, so whenever a children's or early teens book is ordered from me, I will choose an extra book to be sent along with it (free of course!).  The only time I don't send an extra when it is part of Box of Books. Just my small way of trying to help them get into the life of books.

I am also a member of Bookcrossing, so all of my books will have a small Bookcrossing label on the inside cover. This is simply a tracking site to see where my books have travelled. While I don't mind if you don't want to make a journal entry about receiveing the book, I would appreciate it if you do not remove the label unless you are keeping the book for your personal collection forever.
